"You're Getting Married Tomorrow.... What Are You Wearing??"

Bridal Stylist Edition

One of the best jobs in the world has to be a bridal stylist. We get to help our beautiful brides celebrate finding their dream dress.

As a bridal stylist, we get to see and become very familiar with the dresses in our inventory. However, have you ever wondered which dress our stylists would choose for their own wedding? You are in luck! This blog post contains an EXCLUSIVE look at which dress three of our bridal stylists would choose if they were getting married tomorrow and a little bit about their “tomorrow” wedding vision!

Enjoy!

Emilee, you’re getting married tomorrow, what are you wearing?

“If I was getting married tomorrow, I would choose Nisha by Maggie Sottero for my wedding dress. (I got married this past June in Dani from Randy Fenoli, so this is an added bonus to pick another dress!!) Nisha is a modern organza wedding gown that has so many unique features that elevates its seemingly simple design. This dress has a thigh-high slit which adds the PERFECT amount of sass to its regal glam. Also, the illusion back corset detailing is swoon-worthy.

The dress would fit perfectly with my “tomorrow” wedding vision of a chapel ceremony, an intimate bistro-restaurant-style dinner, followed by desserts and drinks outside (preferably with a black-and-white checkerboard dance floor!!). Think early fall vibes, jazz music, and warm lighting.”

Lauren, you’re getting married tomorrow, what are you wearing?

“If I was getting married tomorrow, I would choose Fergie by Randy Fenoli for my wedding dress. I'm a clean, simple girl and Randy makes every detail perfect –from the material to the double seamed waist and detachable bow, it's a stunning gown. Plus, my mom wore a halter neck wedding gown with an open back and though it's very different from Fergie, I love that sentimental touch! I would of course have the most ridiculous cathedral lace veil imaginable.

I LOVE WINTER WEDDINGS and would absolutely have one for my “tomorrow” wedding. Venues decorate so beautifully around the holidays and there's something so cozy and festive about the season. I'm thinking of calla lilies, lots of greenery, and warm jewel tones to give *winter* without giving Christmas. Add in lots of texture with velvet and satin and it's perfect.”

Lydia, you’re getting married tomorrow, what are you wearing?

“If I was getting married tomorrow, I would choose Jessica by Maggie Sottero. This was one of the dresses I first fell in love with at Ivory Rose so it was inevitable that I chose it as my “tomorrow” wedding dress. I am an OG A-line girlie. I feel very comfortable in that silhouette (because I LOVE to dance) and Jessica does a beautiful job with its chiffon bottom to make any bride feel flowy and dreamy. Not to mention…Jessica’s illusion lace and a detachable cowl…?!?! I love a good back moment. 😊

For my “tomorrow” wedding, I would want it to be late spring. I am obsessed over peonies (and literally all flowers) so you can count on the fact that I would have a ton of flower bouquets. Add in the BEST dancefloor party ever to finish out the night and you have my dream wedding.”
