frequently asked questions What is the cancellation/return policy? All sales are final as all dresses are made-to-order. There are no cancellations, returns, or exchanges. Does Ivory Rose fulfill dress alterations? We do not provide in-house alterations. However, we have some amazing alterations specialists in the area that we recommend. Please contact us for any information. ​ Can I bring my children? While we love babies and small children, we do not advise bringing them to your appointment. We will work to accommodate your party the best we can, but please note we do not have a safe area for children to play. Can I bring alcoholic beverages to my appointment? Outside food and beverage of any kind are not allowed in the boutique. Once you say "heck yes" to your dress, you can enjoy complimentary champagne or upgrade your appointment to a VIP appointment & enjoy snacks & champagne during your appointment. Where should I park? Parking downtown can be tricky so please make sure to give yourself enough time to find a metered street stall or parking ramp spot. We recommend parking in the Red Ramp (1 block walk) or Soldier Square (directly behind our building). ​ What is the pricing in your boutique? Special order gowns range from $1,600-3,800. If you are looking for an off-the-rack discounted dress, let’s reschedule your appointment for during the week or on our designated Sample Sale weekends. What size ranges do you offer? Sample sizes in our boutique range from size 6-22 & all gowns can be custom ordered in sizes 0-30 When should I order my dress? We suggest purchasing your bridal gown 9-12 months in advance. It is important to factor in 6-8 months for your gown to arrive from the time of purchase + 2-3 months for alterations. On occasion, certain designers do offer rush shipping for an extra charge. ​ What should I expect at my appointment? During your appointment you will work one-on-one with a knowledgeable stylist to bring your bridal vision to life. In your own viewing area, your guests will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fashion show! How early should I arrive for my appointment? Please arrive no more than five minutes early for your appointment. This allows our Bridal Stylists to wrap up all previous appointments + give each bride the personal attention she deserves! We are located right downtown, so if you do arrive early there are several coffee shops, boutiques, and other restaurants within walking distance we’d love to recommend. ​ Who should I bring to my appointment? Less is more! To make your experience enjoyable + stress free, we recommend bringing people whose opinions you value. Keep in mind, it always comes down to what you love best! What should I bring to my appointment? Bring any shoes, accessories & undergarments you plan on wearing the day of the wedding (strapless bras, spanx, etc.) to help gauge the best fit. For hygienic purposes undergarments must be worn. What happens once I say Heck Yes? When the right dress comes along, you'll feel it! It is typical to find your dream gown within the first 10-12 options you try on. Trust your gut + don't be afraid to say HECK YES! so we can take your measurements, down-payment & pop some champagne to celebrate! ​ What are my payment options? All bridal special orders require a 60% deposit to place your order. Once your dress arrives & you come for pick up we’ll collect the outstanding balance.
